Since you ask, I converted it to Jpeg using Bibblepro. The "Perfectly Clear" plugin in that converter did a really nice job of bringing out the detail of the image. Afterwards in the GIMP I duplicated layers, made the top darker to bring out the sky and used a layer mask to show the bottom sea+land layer. Unfortunately in the original there's a lot of chromatic aberration on the join between land and sky but thankfully resizing hid that. For a final dramatic touch I used an Overlay layer with a black to transparent gradient to bring out the clouds even more. Hope that helps? Thanks Alexander. I had just pushed Adam in his buggy up the steep slope from the beach and Jacinta was holding him when I took this shot but I wasn't sure it would come out too well because I was so tired.
