grianghraf álainn, a beautiful photo which calls to mind the beautiful poem in the Irish language entitled ‘Na Blátha Craige’ by Liam Ó Flaitheartaigh (famous short story writer in English language) .
The poet addresses the flowers at the base of the cliff, saying what a poor situation they have, a place covered in bird droppings, sea mist and unlit by sun. The flowers respond
‘is cuma linn , a stór
táimid faoi dhraíocht
ag ceol na farraige’
We do not mind at all
we are in the spell
of the music of the sea.
