A sign at the entrance to my estate warns motorists to watch out for children playing on the street.
Just to prove that you don’t need a big digital SLR to take interesting photos, this was taken with my Panasonic FZ5. I saw the great cloudscape in the sky and illuminated the sign with the onboard flash.
Absolutely!!! Good eyes beat good gear every time
And your eye was spot on here ![]()

I always wondered as a kid why they were warning us about flying cars.
I also used to think that the sign for picnic spots with the tilted tree was a warning about falling trees.

While on the child theme, I just want to say congrats to my friends John and Ann who welcomed their daughter Sophie into the world yesterday! Unfortunately due to complications Sophie arrived after only 24 weeks so she’s getting the best care possible in the Erinville but the next few days will be critical. She’s in our prayers.

Nice shot, I like the light in the sign.Actually I find it funny because you can pretend that the sign is to beware drivers from children. Might they be dangerous? ![]()
