View on Camden Quay
Filed in Black and White, Canon 40D, Cork, Ireland, Photography, Photos, Sigma 18-200, UrbanCamden Quay in Cork City with the north side of the City behind it. St. Anne’s (or Shandon Bells) and the Catholic North Cathedral in the background. Loved the light when I saw this scene. The setting sun cast shadows on the buildings and reflected off the church steeples.
Snowing in Blarney
Filed in Blarney, Canon 40D, Cork, Ireland, Photography, Photos, Sigma 18-200, UrbanIt snowed in Blarney today. First snow of the season fell 2 days ago but was barely a few flakes that fell overnight. Today’s snow covered the area in a blank of white, but thankfully didn’t last too long! Roads are still affected and unfortunately there’s a steep hill coming into my estate.
