15 September 2008 - Blarney Half Marathon 2008The annual Blarney Half Marathon ran through the village and surrounding countryside yesterday. Here’s a gallery of shots I took while walking the dog. A light drizzle of rain soaked everyone, and hurried my steps home and back to the warmth. The weather was much nicer last year!
08 September 2008 - Tour of Ireland Stragglers
Some of the final riders who passed through Blarney during the Tour of Ireland race last week.
14 March 2008 - A big head is naturalI was setting up a shot by placing that wheel cap leaning on the bus shelter when these two teenagers ran across the road carrying a football goal between them!
Anyway, there’s the Murphy’s stout advert I wanted to shoot. I wonder if they advertise anywhere else in the country?
27 November 2007 - Walking on airMy brother Cathal leapt into the air to head the ball when Kilkully Decking played Mulligans played at Turners Cross a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately they lost, but it was a great game of football. Cathal played a blinder!
02 August 2006 - We Went BowlingWe went bowling today, and I took a few shots. So far nobody has attempted to kill me for shooting so many photos!
An open air meeting of Automattic yesterday went superbly, although we’re all a little burned. Sitting in the afternoon sun in a park by the Golden Gate was worth it though! Thankfully my luggage came, along with my suntan lotion.
iPhoto isn’t *that* bad, you’re limited in what you can do, but I haven’t got X11 installed so I can’t run the GIMP. For some reason, the dmg file off Apple.com refuses to install because it’s an older version than software already on the machine. Any Mac head know what that’s about?
19 October 2005 - Arrggghhhh!
Young boy admiring the graffitti on a van.
The van was used to transport ramps and tools for the skateboarders in Emmett Square, Cork.
Shortly after taking this shot I was urged to move “because some of the guys want to come off the side of the ramp”. I quickly complied.
