The sun had just set over this stretch of the water in Cork Harbour near Monkstown and the sky had turned a beautiful orange and purple and red and golden.
Much to the annoyance of my dog Oscar, I stopped and spent a good 10 minutes shooting this scene and basked in the beautiful colour.
The Nike Store, Niketown, on Union Square, San Francisco as seen in 2006.
San Francisco as seen from the hills surrounding the City. I took this back in August 2006.
Can you tell yet that I merged a few of my work directories after doing some house keeping work on my photo archive?
Thanks to Niall Kennedy for driving us up there!
On the way into Cork Airport I snapped this shot of the beautiful green fields of Co. Cork.
After the desert landscape of Arizona it was a relief to see familiar countryside again.
Our Shih Tzu, Oscar, received a long overdue grooming today. Here he is on the 10th of December 2007. Can you imagine how much more hair grew since then?
Yes, this photo is very similar to this beach photo. They were taken moments apart. I’m running low on prepared images, it’s after 9pm and I have lots of other things to do tonight before I go to bed. *yawn*
Sunset over Garrettstown Beach.
PS. spammers are using the inphotos.org domain to send spam again which is why this site was down for most of the day. You should see the incoming traffic graph because of all the bounced messages. I have now shut down Postfix, and redirecting email to through my domain registrar, Joker.com who hopefully can handle the load better. Email to email@example.com may not reach me for several hours however.
Our Shih Tzu Oscar on Garrettstown Beach again. We forgot to bring a ball with us but Oscar went running after anything I threw.
He never did catch the object. I guess there’s nothing quite like a tennis ball eh?
I love the evening sun on him in this picture!
This is the centre of Blarney village. It’s a lovely large green, enclosed on all sides by walls and with gates on the north and south sides.
Just goes to show, it’s not always raining in Ireland!
Next time you’re in Blarney sit down on the benches next to Super Valu. Wait a few minutes and this cat will probably appear, especially in warm weather! 🙂
