The Puppy, the cat and the calf

The Puppy and the calf

Sasha took quite an interest in a field of calves across the road from her home last night, and they in her! This particular calf was braver than the rest and sniffed at Sasha, Oscar, me and whoever was at the gate!
Ali, the cat, didn’t think much of the bovine crowd gathered around and soon settled in the ditch to sleep!

Photos of the day: Italian fans celebrate.

Oscar in the grass

Oscar sitting patiently for us while we finished a bbq at my sister-in-law’s house!

This required quite a bit of work because I had to clone out his lead, 3 garden chairs and the side of the bbq. Is it obvious where?

Bovine bodyguard

Three cattle watch as we passed their field. “Is that a bull on the left?” says the city boy.

Mr. Ed

Well, maybe he doesn’t talk, but this horse sure eats a lot!

Oscar

In a few days time we’re adopting this little ball of fur and we’re going to name him Oscar!
There’s an adorable King Charles Spaniel asleep in the background, but as you can see, both are unconcerned that a crazy cousin with a camera is making this shot!

Blarney Rabbit

Another shot of the lovely little rabbit before I cut the grass. The grass has grown back with a vengance already so it will need cutting again!
We’re Back! Lanzarote was amazing and I have several hundred photos and a few are probably good enough to post!

A little bunny in the garden

One of the trio of rabbits that live in and around our garden in Blarney.

I may have time to post wedding photos before we go on honeymoon but it’s unlikely. You’ll have to wait! I’m going to ask a few people for permission to post photos of them first so don’t worry about your face appearing on the Internet!
Thank you Donal, Conor, Matt, Charlene, Mike, Celine, John and everyone else who had a camera for taking photos. I look forward to seeing those that I haven’t seen yet!

Blarney Horses

Three horses appeared in a field close to Blarney village about a week ago. At first, a mare, her foal and another horse were there, but the mare is gone now and three young looking animals are in residence. I took this photo one morning a few days ago.
One of the horses was exceptionally friendly, looking for attention and pushing the others out of the way to sniff my hand and be rubbed!
They’re lovely animals and hopefully they’ll be close to the fence next time I walk past.

Little Bunny

Each Spring for the past two years wild rabbits visit our garden at home. They’re really cute, and thankfully I don’t have any flowers or veg to tempt them!
