Carried away with working on photos

I wanted to take it easy tonight. It’s been a long week but here I am still. 16 photos worked on in the GIMP and ready to upload. You’re in for a treat next week with some of my shots from Kerry, even if I do say so myself!

Know the feeling! I always seem to start things at midnight thinking I’ll only be a few minutes but ending up losing a few hours instead.

Me too.. I’ve over 1000 images i need to go through from my recent trek around Europe and it’s taking me well beyond midnight on some occasions…. Ii’ve bought myself the new iMac, which is making it alot easier, Thankfully..
I hate post-processing… or at least, I hate batch post-processing. Theres a lot to be said for years ago when I used to throw my rolls of film into the local fuji centre and let them deal with it. It was their “dealing with it” however that put me off film once and for all and I switched to digital. Oh the pain of shifting through hundreds of RAW image files though, and all almost identical, “Which to choose!”. Damn you 4GB flash card, you made it too easy to keep firing without thought!
Anyways, I just wanted to say i think I might give the windows version of GIMP a go
