Old and rusty machinery lies neglected outside a small shed in Fountainstown, Co. Cork. I love the texture of rust and wood!

Why is it that photographers and artists of other medium like rust and wood and old buildings and such? Could it be because they all want to capture a special moment in time and these weathered and decaying subjects hold such stories we try to unlock or imagine?
