Wilton Road Roundabout

Wilton Road Roundabout

Flyovers are being built over the roundabouts in Wilton and Bishopstown in Cork right now and I’ve been meaning to photograph both building sites before construction was completed. I never imagined I’d be able to shoot the Wilton construction site from a plane!

nice shot, interesting to see it from above. I presume you were on a commercial flight?

Yeah, flight from London on Saturday afternoon. I’ve hardly ever flown in that way, lining up from the Blarney side, so it was a great opportunity to get a few shots :)

And as someone on Facebook pointed out, this is the Sarsfield Road Roundabout. Oops :)
