
Waves crash into the sea wall at Garrettstown Beach, Co Cork a few weeks ago. Beautiful day for a trip down there and the wind blew the sea into violent waves pounding the man made obstructions on shore.

I have to ask the obvious…did the water make it all the way to you?
Only the spray! I had to keep my camera hidden between bouts of snapping off shots. Luckily there are plenty of rocks above the waterline
