Geese at The Lough feeding on the ground near the water’s edge. Most have their heads down pecking at scraps but one stubbornly kept a look out ..

I wasn’t sure about this until I concentrated on it a bit. Now I love it. It’s obviously not vivid enough for flickr but that’s what makes it different IMO.

Thanks Matt

I like it because the eye of the goose in the foreground is so clearly visible. He’s watching us while the rest chomp away at scraps on the ground!
