Anything but Guinness
So, today is Arthur’s Day, a celebration of 250 years of Guinness. Well, sorry, but I don’t like Guinness and this is obviously a cheap marketing ploy by a large multi-national to drive sales of a declining beverage. Seems to have worked.
Me? I may just open that bottle of Leffe. Yum.

I hope you didn’t open it with that screwdriver.
Could ruin a nice beer then
Unfortunately I didn’t get to drink anything last night, unless you count the milk in my late night bowl of cornflakes.
Maybe at the weekend, but probably not. I’m not much of a drinker!
well you usen’t be a drinker at all! It all started to go downhill after that holiday in Spain and look at you now :p
Celebrated the occasion last night with a few pints of Murphys. Arthurs day indeed…
Last night was a cheap (but very good quality) ice cold polish pilsner occasion for me.
I suppose somebody is vicariously living out his Irishness through the odd pint of plain.
Mmm Guinness… reminds me of college!
I would be a fan of the Hoegaarden myself.. Used to love Leffe, until i discovered the other stuff..
