Genuinely very interesting effects… personally I’d change the hue mapping slightly, cyan just screems “negative” but thats just me.
As an aside but related note, this blogs subheading: “no photoshopped images here”, it’s always confused me. Is it a play on the fact that you use Gimp and not PS? I can’t see how you could mean it literally otherwise
I really like this one. I have to agree that the green looks a little off though. It works on the Global sign, but everywhere else it’s a bit weird.
