I think the contrast is far too high on this. All detail is lost and it’s very difficult to get a sense of what I’m looking at.
Perhaps this contrast would work better on a tighter crop of the image or a different composition where pattern and form would make up for the lack of detail but this particular composition ends up looking confused.
Good point about the contrast but the image is supposed to be quite abstract. Blacks are too black though.
