The Lord Mayor’s car, a top of the range Ford. Despite the fact that Ford have a much reduced presence in Cork these days the Lord Mayor continues to make use of a Ford automobile. Always the first car registered in the year too.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin was always the first one registering his car each year too! Always amazed me that he’d line up like that. Good on him, being with the people, the common folk, like that!
