Some people find the name of the most popular open source and GPLed image manipulation program slightly funny or rude, others as a derogatory term, while others just see it as the acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Programme. every time i open gimp the whole scene from pulp fiction flashes through my mind. I wonder if it influences my art….what a horrid thought.
